Anniversary
Yesterday was our second wedding anniversary! It was completely unlike what I was hoping it would be! It was far better than what I could have imagined.
I am so blessed to have Pishi in my life. His existence in my life, gives me the energy and courage to break all the walls of doubt that I have around me about my life. I honestly can't imagine my life without him. Actually the week that he was away in Vagas was the first week that we have been away from each other since we have been married and I must confess that it was pretty hard not to have him around me. Specially that we are still not over the honeymoon stage yet!!Each hour that we are together we only are efficient for a few minutes as the rest of it is spent for kissing and hugging and teasing each other!
I know I am lucky to have found a partner in life that is caring, loving and is as ambitious about future as I am!
There are less than 2 weeks left to my leadership position to start and I am slowly wrapping everything up. I am proud that the new associate that I have trained has picked up so quickly. I know that I can pass the torch to him with ease of mind!
Last week I got to see my friends, Muna and Lina. We were suppose to go for dinner but Muna's babysitter bailed on her. So we ended up going to her place for dinner! We had Sushi and Swiss Chalet and that was one of the best dinners I have ever had with my friends. As I sipped on the cranberry juice we talked about how we are doing and listened and laughed at each others stories.
I should say that our trip to France, was fun. We explored other tourist attractions that we missed last year. My view of Paris has changed since last year. I definately like to visit again and explore more of this old and interesting city.
I found Turkey to be a very interesting country. When I was there, I really didn't feel out of place as a lot of people's characteristics were like Iran's. The Grand Bazaar with its bright shop keepers was one of the highlights!
What made me think in Turkey was that, how come a country that the majority of the people are Muslim, can have such tolerance with regards to booze, tourists and clubs??
Beautiful Istanbul had Magnificent Aya Sofia, Topkapi and Sultan Ahmed as some of its top architectural structures.
Marmaris and Datca were hot but their European style urban structures on the coast of Mediterranean sea were breath taking. On the road to Datca, which lasted 2 hours, as we were driving on the mountains there were spots that we were surrounded by Sea on both sides!
It was a great vacation. Being with my in-laws made it twice as nice. I love my mother in law! We were like close friends with each other! I felt that in this trip, we became even closer.
